Set up your lane
Motion play needs only enough space for an empty-handed delivery. Touch play works anywhere.
Put the alley on a TV
- Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Choose your compatible TV, Apple TV, Mac, or projector.
- Return to Bowling Simulator. The lane appears on the big screen while your device remains the camera and controller.
Position the device
- Set the device upright on a stable table, shelf, or stand.
- Turn it so the camera can see your bowling side.
- Step back until your shoulders, bowling hand, and feet remain visible through the full delivery.
- Keep empty hands and leave enough room to swing safely.
Safety: Never hold a real ball or prop while using motion controls. Make sure people, pets, furniture, and screens are clear of your arm.
Bowl with motion
Take your stance and hold still until the game confirms it can see you. Mime the push-away, backswing, and release. Arm speed controls power; the release sets the line. You do not need to run toward the camera.
- Use even room lighting so your outline stays clear.
- Avoid standing directly in front of a bright window.
- If tracking drops, step back into frame and retake your stance.
- You can switch cameras from the setup controls.
Bowl with touch
Choose Touch controls when you want to play seated or without camera access. Set aim and spin, drag down to load the throw, then flick up to release. A faster, straighter flick sends a stronger shot.
