Ten frames. Ten pins.
Bowling Simulator follows regulation ten-pin scoring and gives every pin and ball its own physics body.
Scoring
- A game has ten frames. You normally get two throws to clear the rack.
- A strike clears all ten pins on the first throw and adds your next two throws as a bonus.
- A spare clears the rack in two throws and adds your next throw as a bonus.
- In the tenth frame, a strike or spare earns the fill throws needed to finish the score.
- A perfect game is 300.
Aim and spin
Move the starting line before a throw to attack a different board. Open the spin control to add left or right turn, or keep it straight. A curved line can enter the pocket at a stronger angle, but too much side spin can carry the ball away from the head pin.
What shapes the shot
Power
Motion play reads arm speed. Touch play reads the speed and length of your flick.
Direction
Your release line or swipe direction sends the ball across the boards.
Spin
Side spin changes the line as the ball travels and hooks into the rack.
Pin action
Every pin can collide, slide, and carry into the rest of the rack.
Bumpers
Turn bumpers on from game setup when you want gutter protection. Bumpers apply to the game you are starting and are ideal for mixed-skill groups.
Bowling halls
Choose Tokyo, Texas, California, or New York. Hall choice changes the house atmosphere, wall art, lane finish, and lighting—not regulation scoring.
Points and leaderboards
Games add to your lifetime points. Use points to claim bowlers and balls, or stake 500 or 1,000 points in a 1v1 duel. Game Center leaderboards track your best regulation game and lifetime total.
